Clark is a Managing Director and Chairman of the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Group at Lincoln International. He has more than 30 years of technology investment banking experience and has advised and executed over 200 mergers and acquisitions (M&A), IPOs, common stock and convertible offerings, private placements and restructuring transactions.
Clark is a trusted advisor to private equity clients, senior management teams and company boards in the technology industry. His deep domain expertise and strong relationships with influential technology private equity firms and large strategic companies have enabled Clark to achieve transformational and award-winning outcomes for his clients.
Prior to joining Lincoln, Clark served as Chief Executive Officer at Spurrier Capital Partners (SCP), a technology-focused investment bank that he founded in 2009, which was later acquired by Lincoln in early 2022. Previously Clark was with Morgan Stanley, where he created the business-to-business software and financial technology practices within the firm’s global technology group. Clark was also a founding member of the technology group at JP Morgan. He also held senior leadership positions at Thomas Weisel Partners and CIBC World Markets.
Prior to his career in finance, Clark was a Military Intelligence Officer serving as a paratrooper and Master Parachutist in the 82nd Airborne Division and XVIII Airborne Corps with 77 parachute jumps. Clark holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The United States Military Academy at West Point.
